Blames Everyone Else: Instead of taking responsibility for the mess in his district, Begonia points the finger at developers. He promised change but delivers nothing but excuses.
Here are the points on them both what they did together:
Voted to rehire Josh Pinheiro with a 10% raise, despite his previous termination.
Voted to pay Pinheiro an extra $1.8 millions of TAXPAYER FUNDS without providing any justification.
Voted to change a long-standing city rule, making it so Pinheiro could only be fired with a unanimous 5-0 vote from the council.
Ignored the advice of City's insurance lawyers, who opposed the payout.
All of these actions were taken without any public input, legal review, or following proper procedures.
